Forth Port's Gate Entrance.
This gate represents the entrance to Forth Port's, Leith Docks. In the background you can see The Sailors House. Now a hotel and restaurant it was originally built (1833) for the sailors docked in Leith. It provided rooms, food and a chapel for the visiting sailors and proved to be a valuable social care program for sailors of various rank.
